Note To Self: Don't Get Sent To Prison...

OK, let's get this one concept cleared up, shall we? If you're doing something illegal, don't f---ing brag about it on the internet. It will, almost always, come back to bit you square on the ass. I don't care how stealthy you think you're being: it's gonna bite you.
Take David B. Thompson (no relation), an Oregon prison guard, for example: while it probably comes as no surprise to most people that prison guards use a bit too much violence sometimes, we don't generally expect them to trumpet their acts of brutality to online communities like those occupying the City of Heroes forums:
"I don't know about that. I crushed a dude's eye socket from repeatedly punching him in it, then I charged him with menacing and harassment (of me) he took a plea to get away from me."
I am so totally OK with this sadist getting investigated -and hopefully getting fired- after reading about all the comments he made. Oh, and David? It's called Karma; if there's any real justice here, you'll get locked up with the same people you terrorized.

Ugh. I get really embarassed when someone from within a fanbase I'm a part of acts like that. Most CoH/CoV players are genuinely nice people. It's sad to be reminded that there are some who are not. I'm just glad another gamer tipped off the Tribune.
