Radio Shack To Begin Selling Games
With the imminent release of the Halo 3, staring us all in the face like a lonely trucker, Radio Shack has felt the hard push to start selling video games. That’s right, the next time you are in line buying connectors and cables for your beloved electronics collection, you can purchase such titles as Halo 3, and Madden NFL 08, as well as twelve other major holiday releases.
Joystiq put the word on the wire from an inside source that said Radio Shack will begin selling games and game hardware on September 24th, starting with Halo 3 on the 25th. Apparently 2,500 of the chain's 6,000 plus stores will be selling PS2s, Wiis, and Xbox 360s. You may even be able to order a PS3 upon request.
The source says that they will discontinue the game promotion after the holidays, unless it does really well. So check out the October flier for Radio Shack to see what deals they have on these titles and hardware.
