So That's What Fame Feels Like!

jugglerfan.jpg

So, whilst on tour promoting Cirque du Soleil, the tour bus made a stop at Syracuse University to hang out with the juggling club. It was pretty laid back, largely consisting of everyone goofing around and having a good time, but at one point I got into a conversation with some self-proclaimed gamers and I asked one of them if he read GayGamer.net. If I remember correctly, the response was something akin to "yeah, I read it all the time! I love you guys!"

I proceeded to introduce myself, and there was subsequently a lot of excitement: a lot from him (we shall refer to said fan as "Ben" from now on) because he got to meet the glory that is me, and probably even more from myself because I suddenly understood what fame feels like. Well, perhaps quasi-fame, if we're going to be completely technical. Anyway, the general point of this post is that if you happen to see any of us on the street, don't be afraid to come up and say hello; we all love meeting our readers (our Fearless Leader particularly loves it when you ask him how old he is), and we're also more than happy to pose for cheesy photos with you guys.

So consider this a minor love-letter to all of you: you guys are the reason we're still on the net, and without your support and appreciation the site wouldn't be anywhere near where it is today. All of us are aware of this fact, but we rarely mention it on this page because of all the other stuff that ends up going up here. However, occasionally, it needs to be said that we truly appreciate the community which supports us, and I've loved getting to know our readers in person. So, as I said, don't be a stranger.

However, if you want an autograph, that'll cost five bucks.

That picture is sort of giving me fantasies of going to the prom with Boy of Tomorrow. I think it's the gigantic purple rose and cheesy smiles.
