TGS 07: Keynote Kaz

Aside from the announcement of the DualShock 3, Kaz Hirai's keynote speech at TGS today (I mean, it's today for me - the International Date Line is confusing) was more or less what you'd expect from Sony at this point in time - lots of talk about new strategies that are essentially what most of us have been clamoring for all along. PS2 business is still going strong and isn't disappearing any time soon, while the PSP will bring new games, new colors, and new media services like GPS and a "1 seg" TV tuner.
As far as the PS3 goes, the apologetic tone continued, with the now-stale reminders of the upcoming Home experience and expansion of the Playstation Store. Not that I'm complaining - those sound like great features. But they also sounded like great features last March. That said, Sony's really come through by bringing rumble back to PlayStation by revealing the DualShock 3 - so a little mercy might be merited.
At any rate, the President Formerly Known As Kaz did his usual best, so make the jump for the press release and details.
