TGS 07: Ubisoft Publishing No More Heroes

I've said it once and I'll say it again; I love Suda 51. Grasshopper Manufacture is best known for their title Killer 7 a hyper-violent, politically fueled rail shooter with a unique comic book like cel-shaded 3d motif. Grasshopper announced early that it would be designing a similarly stylized title titled No More Heroes.

No More Heroes will feature the full gambit of motion sensitive controls Wii titles are known for as well as the unique look and feel we come to expect from Grasshopper. And now we know that Ubisoft, one of my personal favorite publishers, has picked up the title and will be bringing this title to the US in February 2008.

Now enjoy the greatest trailer I've ever seen for a video game. Shake it baby.

OK, this game is SO not Ubisoft's style. This game is way cooler than everything Ubisoft has ever done put together. That being said, I am thrilled to finally have confirmation that the game is making it stateside. Thanks Ubisoft! ;)

What I've seen of the game looks pretty cool. I just hope that it doesn't play like Killer7. That game had the looks, but it was an absolute pain to actually play.
