TGS 07: Cosplay Gallery
Whilst I was knee deep in booth babes and riding broomsticks for Kotaku at TGS, our own Tiny Dancer and Asian correspondent Takashi got to head down to the trenches and take some photos of the infamous TGS cosplayers. These kids really go all out and some of them are truly amazing. Others, of course, are truly horrific, but I'll let you make that judgment call for yourself. So, is it awkward if two people show up in the same costume and meet face-to-face?
i know they were both crossplay chicks, but can we get Sephi and Cloud to make out next time. just give them a girls gone wild hat or something.
There's just something wrong about girls dressing up as male Square characters and still looking accurate.

My personal favorite is the girl dressed up as the main character from Dragon Quest VIII. I never thought anyone would actually be able to pull off a giant, sleeveless raincoat in real life.
Haha! This is like the Tiny edition of "Where's Waldo" (Where's Tiny?). Awesome!
I love the Link in 13 and 16. I'm all for people having the balls to go out there and do something like that, and it's not that he's got a bad costume or anything, but to me he just sticks out like a sore thumb.
And of course the cameo proving "I was there!" by Tiny in 31. :)
I have to say the Automaton from FFXI is my fav. All show, no glory (aka no face to prove "that was me!"), just total tribute. Classy.
Wow! The FFXI Dragoon in AF2 armor is pretty amazing! And I'm never seen anyone do Bridget from Guilty Gear's giant handcuff belt thing so accurately! O_O lol
Wow, Japanese cosplayers really put US and European ones to absolute shame!

I love the Apollo Justice cosplay.
OMG I LOVE THE FFXI COSPLAY! They did an awesome job with the Blue mage and dragoon, the Automaton too. It made my night, I'm trying to put either a Blue Mage or Paladin Costume together and this just gave me more motivation
