Video: New Content In Playstation Home
The latest video to come out of Home shows some distinct changes from previous builds. The apartment being showcased has a grander view of the seaside, wrapping around one corner of the room. The apartment seems cluttered with furniture, showing off the different styles. I'm quite fond of the queen anne style chaise longue. All they need to do is have real life equivalents of the pieces that you can order with a click of a button and have it delivered to your front door. Okay maybe my bank account couldn't handle such a temptation. Moving on.
Also featured is an outdoor communal area. Previous iterations showed an indoor mall setup for the various casual games and trophy room. Here we see that it's been transported outside with an inviting tropical locale. You can see the outdoor chess games set in the park. There seems to be various in-game advertisements done through video panels placed throughout Home. One such advertisement is for a baseball game that's shown inside the bowling alley. You can walk up to the arcade machines in the alley for some virtual old school realness. The video ends in the movie theater where we see posters for Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Folklore.
This preview is just an appetizer for the full meal that will be delivered to the XMB early on next year. I can't wait to start decorating. I've already picked out fabric swatches and busted out the Pantone color book for 2007.

HOME is not happening soon enough. My non-game playin' domestic partner is looking forward to it.
