Xbox Live Gold Access Upgrade From Sept. 25 to 27
For the launch of Halo 3, Bungie and Best Buy have partnered up to bring Halo fans a treat. From September 25th through the 27th, all Xbox 360 owners will be provided with a Live Gold Account. This means anyone who purchased a 360 for the game and Silver users will be able to hop into the frey from day one.
To be honest, it’s a blessing for us. Some of our game’s most amazing features can only be fully enjoyed on Xbox Live with a Gold account – and we wanted as many people as possible to at least try those features. Now they can. Which means less talk and more action.
It even gets better. Best Buy is holding a huge giveaway for the Halo 3 launch. Players can win 8000 MS points in the Xbox Live and Best Buy Play & Win Sweepstakes. They will also be giving away:
- Halo 3 branded Pontiac G6 GXP Street Edition
- Samsung home theater package
- A share of more than one million Microsoft Points

I even got the fucking Diamond card.
Woo 3 days free gold LOL That's one more than what usually comes packed with Live enabled titles lol
This seems less like a "treat" and more like a "get hooked on this game so you have to buy a Gold account."
