Pricey Arcade-In-A-Box Controllers For Xbox 360

Arcade-In-A-Box is hangin' tuff by bringing you the grooviest retro arcade experience to be found on the Xbox 360, dig? Check out their dyn-o-mite arcade controllers - single and dual-player setups that replicate the authentic arcade experience from machines like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and Galaga. These modern primitives are compatible with both the 360 and the PC.
Says Arcade-In-A-Box owner Ed Farias:
"Xbox 360 gamers have a wide variety of classic arcade games to play, but until now there hasn’t been a high-quality, stick with the authentic controls that hard core gamers demand... Our goal was to design and deliver a product for the gamer who wanted the most elite, most authentic, and most thrilling Xbox 360 arcade experience possible."
I don't know about you, but I feel elite already. And thrilled, positively thrilled, by the $149 and $299 price tags on the single- and dual-player units, respectively - XBLA is a great way to play older classics on a current system without spending an arm and a leg. But now I know why I was saving my limbs: for one of these. Oh, and for $30 more, you can get an admittedly cool-looking overlay for your controller, but no matter how much you pay, the controller is not compatible with Xbox 360 official headset. Arcade-In-A-Box suggests "you use your old Xbox headset."
Dudes, for $150, I don't wanna haul out a dusty last-gen headset - I don't much care how authentic the experience is.

Your first sentence kills me. I lost count of how many decades were used in that sentence alone... :)
