Beautiful Katamari DLC Sticks To Xbox Live In Japan

Although the game only hit American shores last week, the first batch of downloadable game content for Beautiful Katamari has shown up for Japanese Xbox Live users. The update consists of four stages at 200 Microsoft points each, and have gamers doing such things as rolling up string to make a weaver girl, or gathering food to form a whale. I would say those sound strange, but this is Katamari. On the quirk scale, those are about as odd as a warm glass of milk before bed.
Still, it's always nice to see developers embracing additional content for their games (unless you hate paying for things). With many reviewers commenting that the game feels a little like more of the same compared to its Playstation 2 predecessors, it will be interesting to see what Namco can do with what has emerged as one of its most popular and unique franchises.

I can has Wii katamari plz?
And more horse armor (reported via the destructoid http://www.destructoid.com/beautiful-katamari-dlc-announced-800-points-will-buy-you-a-complete-game-50029.phtml )
Appears as though content may already be in the game and they're charging us to unlock it. Some might call it poopoo, others ransom, and for once I think things used to be nicer in the industry back in the day. You bought a game to own. If they had additions not big enough to make an addon, they would include this stuff in patches, if possible, which used to be free (how long though)...
