Directly Download DS Demos (Alliteration Is Fun!)
Nintendo seems to have dropped the mother-load today. Sonic is in Smash Bros. Brawl, A treasure trove of WiiWare is on the horizon, and even motorcycles in Mario Kart. I've been neglecting my poor little GameCubeWii, and he is just getting more and more appealing as the day moves on.
It was announced that the Wii will be able to be treated as an at home "Download Station". Users will be able to sit in the comfort of their own homes and try out fractional versions of popular and upcoming DS titles. You may have noticed similar stations in places like GameStop or Toys 'R Us. I'm personally elated to know that I won't have to venture through the sweaty unwashed masses and aggressive attempts to wrangle me into pre-ordering the next Halo.
Oh how I hate those clerks that policy...

Don't hate the clerks, they're just doing their job. Hate the assholes that manage the company, the ones who threaten to fire the real workers on an almost daily basis if they don't get enough pre-orders. As a former Gamestop employee, I've experienced first-hand the hell of working for them. Believe me, we don't like the heavy-handed sales approach any more than you do.
Actually, I love the clerks. They laughed at my joking about Halo brand tampons. The female actually joined in and then proceeded to take it the next level and talk about how she uses them, etc.
I just hate the policy. I used to work retail, I know the whole deal.
I think i had a wiigasm. Um with all these announcements the wii will probably overtake the market completely.
