Flash Goodness: The Tall Stump
JayIsGames just concluded their fourth annual Casual Design Competition, and the winner is: The Tall Stump. The game begins in a quaint cottage where you and your girlfriend are sitting down at the dinner table. Suddenly a wizard bursts into the room, traps you in a bubble and turns your love into a square. Terribly tragic. So you set off in search of the magician, which takes you inside of The Tall Stump.
The Tall Stump has an excellent, clean visual style that is consistent with the humor of the game. The platforming and puzzles are just challenging enough to keep the player engaged while never becoming overly difficult. You will cackle once you meet the big dog in the stump, and howl when you see what happened to the poor beast after getting attacked by bees. Check out The Tall Stump and the other entries for the Casual Design Competition.

Armor Games, Sierra, Adobe, Switchball... is anybody *not* involved in this game? John Romero springs to mind...
Concept is kinda cute though, but I like my J'n'R controls spot on, these are as dodgy as you'd expect from a flash game.
