Gamestop Cocks Up Pre-Orders, Sticks Tongue Out At Customers

OK, that last bit is a bit of an exaggeration. Maybe. Or maybe I was just having funsies with the headline given my disposition towards America's largest video game retailer.
It seems that Gamestop had a deal, offered exclusively by them, to give out 400 XBL Marketplace points when a person pre-ordered the latest Medal of Honor game for the 360. Sounds like a decent deal, right? Well, it would've been, had the store actually bothered to honor it:
Instead, they cancelled [SIC] the card from his order, then gave him an incorrect reason for the cancellation, then admitted fault and promised to make everything right. As of today—almost a full month since the game was released—he still hasn't received the points.
Yes, that's right, the stores originally told at least one customer that the XBL points hadn't been delivered to him because the game had been canceled. Then, they sent out a message claiming the points were going to be digitally distributed... only, over a month later, no one's received them.
Come on, guys, what gives?
Gamestop Screws Up Pre-Orders, Still Hasn't Fixed Them [Consumerist]

Why the "[SIC]" in the quote? "Cancelled" is spelt that way.
Gamestop SUCKS!! I 've said it so many times. They are crooks...they don't care about their customers and like most monopolies...they don't play nice. I only buy from other outlets or order from Amazon. I despise their stores..their sales staff...everything about them just yells...DISRESPECT!!
...
Okay, that store just sucks. Here's how that particular process went down:
Stores recieved cards to give out at time of pickup a couple weeks prior to the release. Each only recieved 5 cards, but could request more through email to the corporate office.
Wanna know what THAT store did? They kept the cards for themselves. Fucking...its people like that that make it so impossible for people like me to like my job. Really, do you think I enjoy working for a company that is so hated? And hell, get this, its not the companies fault, its that store manager being a jerkoff. Yes, sure, he is THEIR employee and should be fired, but how many people want to work for a company that everyone hates to death anyways?
I've found that their online e-mail service really bites. they don't even answer my e-mails despite having purchased 6-7 titles in the preceding 2 months. At least have decent customer service. Sad really, the have all the best collectors limited pc editions usually. I want to give them my money, but its like they don't want it.I hope gogamers is not affiliated with gamestop and has better service.
