Guitar Hero III Demo Hits XBLA
For those of you just itching to play Guitar Hero III, the new demo for the game is now available on XBLA. I'm actually pretty impressed that they have included five songs in the demo which is basically the entire first level of the game. Songs included with the demo are:
- "Lay Down," Priestess
- "Even Flow," Pearl Jam
- "The Metal," Tenacious D
- "Hit Me With Your Best Shot," as made famous by Pat Benatar
- "Rock You Like A Hurricane," as made famous by the Scorpions
These are pretty much the same songs we saw demoed at E for All over the weekend so ne real surprises here, but I was secretly hoping for Barracuda by Heart. I was lucky enough to play the particular song at E3 and have been chomping at the bit for it ever since. Ah well, just a few more weeks...

Playing The Metal and Lay Down turned out to be much more fun than I expected, though I just gave myself a wicked forearm cramp trying to showoff on expert. It's almost as if The Metal struck me down with one vicious blow.
The prophecy has been fulfilled!
