Halo 3 Was The Best Selling Game In Japan Last Week...What!?
Believe. Believe, indeed. Halo 3 has managed to outsell Pokemon Fushigi no Dungeon: Toki and Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII (I want it!). Here are the figures:

Halo 3, as MEGATONik points out, has managed this on a system that sells less than most other consoles in the country and does even worse for Xbox 360 games. This sales period on this chart is from "September 24th to September 30th (the game was released on September 27th)." Undeniably impressive, but what gets me most is how it outsold Crisis Core. That's just beyond me as I expected that to rule the Japanese charts for quite awhile. Good job, Halo 3, I'm enjoying as we speak. As a matter of fact, I'm about to be in you in a couple a minutes. Get ready. On a final note, I don't expect to see it on the charts next week, but we'll see for one never knows.

Still pretty impressive numbers, but it came in third.
I didn't know there were that many 360s sold in Japan.
Wow, no. It's real. I just checked Media Create. The amazing thing is that it's slightly more than a 33% sell-through of the game. So, one out of every three consoles in japan has a copy of Halo 3.
This has me wondering. How did Bioshock do in Japan?
