Monster Hunter 3 Slated For Wii, Not PS3

Originally announced for the PS3, Monster Hunter 3 has jumped ship and swam over to the inviting seas of the Nintendo Wii. The series has seen great success on the PSP and PS2, in Japan where there are near riots to get their hands on the latest title. Monster Hunter has been on Sony platforms since the beginning, the new title will mark the first occasion where it appears on a Nintendo console.
The reason given for the switch is the high development costs of the PS3. While it is expensive to produce a game on the PS3, I have a feeling Capcom wants to tap into the much, much larger user base of the Wii console. This way they can make a game cheaper to produce and get a much larger potential sales margin. Smooth move Capcom.

is this the game where u put in the different cds to get different mosters.. the same one that had mochi the pink piece of crap from the anime show which i kinda liked? LOLOL
No, this is the one where you're an actual hunter-gatherer type hunter who goes out hunting, brings back kill-parts and makes nifty codpieces out of them.
I bought MHF2 on the psp when I got my shiny new system and I'm not exactly disappointed that it's goin to the Wii. Don't get me wrong, I spend every waking hour playing it, I just feel like one version satisfies enough:)
Wow, F**'n capcom, i was looking forward to it on the PS3.great graphics (HD), and decent online gaming are now history...
I hope they at least make it worthwhile on the wii...
