MOTHER (Earthbound) Shirts For Teh Pre-order

MOTHER123.jpg

I'm sad to say that I do not own a lot of gamer apparel. I own a Super Mario Bros. shoulder bag, a gift from years past, a Pac-Man beanie that doesn't quite fit my melon and an expensive pair of space invader sneakers from France. As you might imagine, it takes a considerable amount of coaxing before I get truly excited about gamer gear. I present an exception.

Mother (Earthbound for us Americans) is one of those series that seems like everyone who has played it is a venomous fan, yet it never really took off here. We only received a single title from the trilogy and has one of the strongest cult followings of any series I've seen since Rocky Horror Picture Show. While we will not be seeing an official release of Mother 1 or 3 in the near future, King of Games (A Nintendo sanctioned, Kyoto based clothing company) has started taking pre-orders for these fantastic shirts. I personally have my eyes set on "The Sharks". If you are a fan of the series, I recommend snatching up your ticket fast as these are likely to go quickly.

DAMN THIS WEAK DOLLAR! Those shirts costs 5040 yen, which is about $43 at today's rates. And that's not even including shipping, which tacks on another $10 at least!

Maaaaaaan... and I'd really like an EarthBound shirt too!

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
