NiGHTS Gets U.S. Release Date
The new NiGHTS game is one of those titles which has us all wondering if it's going to actually be any good. Based on what Tiny's said about his experiences playing it at the Tokyo Games Show, I think it's going to be a rental for me... but, who knows, I could very easily be pleasantly surprised. It definitely happened before with God of War, and I always enjoy such delightful shocks to the system.
Well, it looks like we won't have to wait too long, seeing as how Sega just announced today that the game will hit US retailers' shelves on December 18. Hm... maybe Nights will have a special Christmas outfit he/she/it can wear in honor of its holiday release date. Just think of it: it'll be like Jack Skellington dressed as Santa, only with better fashion sense!

Sega actually already released a Christmas version of the original game back in the day, appropriately titled Christmas NiGHTS. It was like a one level demo, but the entire game was dressed in Christmas-y goodness. I remember thinking how awesome it was that Sega would put so much effort into such a small project. Hopefully they'll include something like this in the new game.
