Resident Wii-vil 4 Sells A Bajillion Copies!
Okay, well, maybe not that many. But over a million is pretty danged impressive. Although what else would you expect when you release a game from such a best-selling series on the hottest-selling console on the market? Still, the fact that Resident Evil 4 is so old probably worked against it a little, since the only new thing going for it was the Wiimote controls. But when you've got a game this bitchin, excellent use of the Wiimote, and a $30 price point, you're gonna sell some copies.
The press release from Capcom also touts the high ratings RE4 received from critics, and also pimps upcoming games Capcom hopes will also hit big, like Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles (more likely) and We Love Golf! (less likely). Then it goes on to talk up Capcom being totally awesome, but then they're kind of preaching to the choir here...
(And why does the UK game have more awesome cover art? So not fair!)
