Saturday Morning Cartoons: Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?
I remember a time when I was just a little lichlet that I'd spend an hour everyday after school watching PBS, willingly—even eagerly—getting a stealth education cloaked by one of my favorite Apple IIE games, Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego? Maybe it was the late, great Lynne Thigpen's commanding, no-nonsense voice; the terribly punned names of the crook of the day; or just that infectious song by "Rockapella." Regardless, this morning we're bringing back one of the best shows 1995 PBS had to offer (mostly to balance out the crap of last week's Video Power). So get ready for this week's criminal chase, "The Cave Art Caper," and next week we'll even get back to some actual cartoons!

Arhh I'm learning! and on a Saturday too!!
I was in love with Greg. I watched the show just to see him. Yum!
wow what a great show!
and that greg is cute, specially when he laughs :)
I just talking about missing this show to my zoology lab partner on Thursday. Thanks Lich.
That brought back memories...mainly that I suck at geography and still do :p
I met Greg when I was little! I remember feeling really funny when I did, if you know what I mean. I think I was like 10 at the time.
Oh man, this show takes me back. I so wanted to be on this show when I was a kid!
Haha, awesome! No problem! I'd totally forgot about the big map part at the end.
I loved this show, but I remember it being on weekday afternoons...
I loved this show so much!
Thigpen was a great actress.
Oh hey, it's Cree Summer.
Man, did I love this show. I wanted some of these prize packs so much, which says so much about me. An atlas! A world-band radio!
I was quite, quite obsessed with Rockapella. My favourite part of the whole show, I think.
Oh man, I used to watch this show religiously when I was a kid. Unfortunately, I didn't retain anything I learned from it...Well actually, I wasn't learning anything while I was a kid either. I pretty much just watched it because I had a crush on Carmen.
I was a huuuuuge PBS watcher as a kid (and in fact, I'm still a huge PBS watcher now!). I was all about Carmen Sandiego and Bill Nye.
