Super Smash Bros. Brawl Gets Delayed; Adds Sonic
Well, I've got good news and bad news, which do you want to hear first? Of course if you've read the headline, you already know what it is, but I'll tell you anyway.
First, the bad news. At Nintendo's Fall Conference it was announced the Super Smash Bros. Brawl has been delayed in Japan until January 24th of 2008. As far as the US version is concerned, the official Smash Bros. Dojo site has now changed the release date for the US to TBD. So when will we see it here? No one can say for sure except Nintendo, so we'll just have to wait and see. More as more is known...
Now the good news! First, it has been announced that SSBB will feature online co-op mode which will be a great addition to the game and finally get some good online functionality in a Wii game. Secondly, giving truth to the rumors that have been swirling around the interwebs for a while now, Sonic the Hedgehog has been added as a playable character to SSBB. Actually, the US Release date was changes to TBA, if you look at the Dojo.
Is it just me, or do none of the writers on this site seem excited for this game at all? Hardly any enthusiasm...
I'm not sure whos articles you've been reading, but everyone here is very excited about this game. perhaps you should run a search on SSBB and see what comes up. Sorry our enthusiasm level isn't up to what you feel it should be.

I wasn't speaking ill of GayGamer, I was simply making an observation. To me, it doesn't seem like the writers are excited, which makes me somewhat sad, as this is the game I desire more than any other right now, and I really love GayGamer, and I like to hear what the writers think about games I am interested in.
I never said that the writers ARE unenthusiastic, I simply said that's what it seems like through my point of view. I never said I couldn't be wrong.
When I saw the Sonic update along with new footage that included in-game action of Princess Peach battling it out, I was super excited! Then in a matter of seconds my heart sanked to my stomach. It was like they released some of the big info in hopes of covering for the delayed release date. Mama..mia..

Duly noted. This is what happens when I read things before I've had my morning coffee. But trust me, we are all super excited for this to come out and especially now with the announcement of co-op online.I agree with Landon though, the delay sucks! Extremely disappointing...
i feel like smash is getting tainted. sure the prospect of playing as snake and sonic seems cool, but i derno. whatevs.

Okay, if I'm living a wet dream from when I was in high school with all it's "Awww, wouldn't it be awesome if XXXX was in Smash Brothers," don't wake me up!!!
i was at work when i saw this and i screamed yeah. Mind you i work in a busy math lab at Hunter College. OMFG final fukingly Sonic is in the game and his final smash is super sonic now we just need knuckles and tails(shadow in my opinion is throwaway). Umm visit my topic on the forum so we can dish out our wii codes for those of us who are purchasing this game.

maybe u weren't wearing your reading glasses aliento because the ssbb official site clearly says TBD u may wanna double check if not triple check that. TBD=to be determined/decided. what does your "TBA" stand for lol.And whether or not the ppl on this site look excited to you doesnt mean they arn't. I'm sure everyone is anxious to play the game almost or as much as you. don't be so quick to judge. Also double check before u correct sum1 lol.
TBA means To Be Announced. It means EXACTLY the same things which is why the post did seem a little anal to me.
