Uwe Boll Wants Us To Say His Name... Correctly
Uwe Boll, that adorably neurotic German director of films so bad they possibly violate the Geneva Convention, contacted MTV to school them as to how to pronounce his name correctly.
Apparently, and this is hysterical, the thing that drives him nuts about his critics is that they don't say his name right on camera when they're bashing his movies. According to Dr. Boll, the proper enunciation is "Ooo-vuh Buhl". Damn, and here I was thinking that it was pronounced "No Talent Brain Dead Hack Whose Ego Is Larger Than Saturn."

I'm sure it would piss me off if people kept pronouncing my name wrong, so I don't really see the big deal with him asking them to pronounce it correctly. I agree he's an ass, but he's not doing anything wrong by asking.
I agree with Jim, but at the same time, you'd think he would have done this ages ago if it bothered him that much. To me it just smacks of another way to get his (correctly pronounced) name in the press, especially after the Postal bomb.
I always thought it was pronounced "Ooo-vay Bohl"
