Video: Cosplaying Can Be Cool
On general principle, I detest cosplayers. I always end up tripping over them at various gaming/comic tradeshows, and the little bastards always seem to take themselves way too seriously for having just dressed up as a cartoon character (or whatever). Seriously, I'm sorry that I stepped on your paper mache ax, but maybe you shouldn't have left it laying in the middle of a busy walkway.
This video, on the other hand, almost makes me want to love certain cosplayers, provided they are willing to admit that they are giant nerds and are more than happy to ham it up in order to make the audience laugh. Don't get me wrong: the dance moves are fantastic, and the general principal of the video is definitely amusing as all hell, but I'm really impressed by Cloud's hair...

I'm amused at how the dance ability in that video is clearly biased toward one gender. And it ain't the one with a Y chromosome.
I also enjoyed how Cloud was a clueless flake. That's pretty much my image of him from the game.
That's just funny. I showed this to my boyfriend and he was completely clueless.. lead to another discussion of what exactly cosplay is, lol
I'm just glad they included Rude who was my favorite character in FF7 :)
