Video: New Areas In Ratchet And Clank Future
Gametrailers has some exclusive video of new stages in Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, and it still looks good. The game is the next in line for the "Just wait until [INSERT GAME HERE] comes out, then you'll see what the PS3 can do!" treatment, after Lair and Heavenly Sword failed to set the world on fire. This one looks like it might be fun for more than 6 hours.
I grabbed the demo from PSN when it appeared a few weeks ago, and I liked the look of the world and the semi-railed gameplay a lot (although locking onto enemies could stand a bit of work). I was not really a fan of the PS2 or PSP versions of the game, but whether it's lowered expectations or early onset dementia, I'll probably give the whole game a shot when it releases (officially) October 30 (but you might actually find it a week early). Make sure and hit the break for another video.

I am a huge fan of the ps2 games, they were always super polished, funny, innovative, detailed and fun. This is the one game that may get me to finally buy a ps3.
Yeah, exactly the same thing for me. I loved all the ps2 games, they just kept getting better. I keep telling myself not to get a ps3 just for this game. But it is hard
FYI - they put back in the "Look Strafe" control scheme that the demo lacked. makes moving/shooting so much easier than the default IMO.
