Video: Super Mario Galaxy Japanese Prologue
Wow, that was epic! Perhaps the most epic start to any Mario game to date! Clearly, Bowser has rebuilt his famed fleet of airships (complete with a remake of the original airship theme from Super Mario Bros. 3) and has decided to bomb the frak out of the Mushroom Kingdom. Does that satisfy him? No. Bowser jsut has to summon a spaceship which grapples on to the ground Peach's castle sits on and drags it to outer space. Oh Peach, couldn't you have simply floated off with a simple blast from between your legs? Anyways, this should be pretty fun and I'm stoked that this game will be landing very soon. Have fun with the video, it's unlike any Mario prologue to date.

That was... freaky dramatic. It was like Final Mario or something! Let's close in on Peach's eye for some weird reason O_o
OH, but that Super Mario 3 airship theme made me feel so warm and fuzzy inside.
Damn, Bowser's going all out for this attack, and yeah, that has to be the best intro to a Mario game, ever.

One thing this game shows once and for all is that when developers actually try, and put some real effort into it, they can make some truly good-looking games for the Wii. The still screens and the videos of this game look really very impressive graphically - I would even go so far as to say that some of what I've seen looks as good as some Xbox 360 games. Now if they just put that much detail and effort into all games for the Wii...

Mario seems to be taking a beating in trailers now a days such as the ones in Smash Bro Brawl. :)
I am a bit annoyed at Peach just standing there though. She's no slouch when it comes to fighting, but I guess the captain goes down with the ship.
Those green fields traps reminded me of the bincho fields in Brave Fencer Musashi.
