Weekly XBLA Update 10/03/07

This week sees Tetris Splash make waves as it swims into the Xbox LIVE Arcade harbor. An aquatic-themed update to Alexey Pajitnov's big blocky 1985 hit, Tetris Splash beefs up single-player mode with 2-6 man multiplayer over Xbox LIVE, 2-4 woman show-downs via local multiplayer, 40 lines of play, co-op and competitive multiplayer modes, something about fish and aquaria (don't ask me, man - I'm a dog person), and all the penny-pinching you can handle: Tetris Splash dives in at a meaty 800 Microsoft Points.
I'm not sure I want to pay around $10 to play Tetris, no matter how spruced-up it is. That said, it's freaking Tetris, so I doubt it'll be hurting for customers.

Why does the gay gaming community need a website? XBL users profusely use the words "Gay" or "Fag" when playing against each other online. Who honestly has the time to care if someone, whom they've never met in real life or know personally, is gay? I know I sure don't. The heterosexual community doesn't have a website, which hopefully could be dubbed, "straightgamer.net" Wouldn't this, like your site, add more fuel to this increasingly hot fire? In all honestly, there is no need for your site. There are plenty of other gay forums all over the internet and in REAL LIFE. Personally, it doesn't matter to me who is gay or not, but the issue here is, does the world need to be any gayer? You make the call.
"...The heterosexual community doesn't have a website, which hopefully could be dubbed, "straightgamer.net"..."
By default...the majority of gaming sites ARE heterosexual in nature.
I visit a wide assortment of gaming sites. I consider Gaygamer.net to be a 'home' of sorts...not because I am trying to make a statement or anything...but because it's a community I can feel comfortable in. (And I enjoy the occasional photo of nerdy guy hotties.)
"...In all honestly, there is no need for your site...."
Uh...have you visited the internet as a whole lately? There is no 'need' for 95% of the websites out there. Who are you to deny this forum it's status as worthy?
