Weekly XBLA Update: 10/24/07 - CAG Edition

Summer/Fall hiatus of Battlestar Galactica got you down? Upcoming Razor Special Event not enough to satiate your "Is Starbuck a Cylon, or what?" jonesing? Welcome to the XBLA Wednesday that will/may/could possibly slake your inhuman thirst.
Why? Well, Battlestar Galactica, of course, the space battler from our Aussie friends at Auran Games (of Fury fame). Pop your CAG-approved stims and play through the single player campaign based on some of BSG's best episodes (such as "33" and Emmy-winner "Exodus") or take on your space buddies in up-to-eight-man multiplayer, flying your Viper II or Heavy Raider as either a human or a Cylon. 800 Microsoft Points.
If Sci-Fi doesn't wax your wang, step into an addictive puzzler experience with Exit - filled with more than 220 levels of various disasters and emergencies from which you are tasked with rescuing hapless humans. Rather be a Cylon, myself, than save a bunch of dead weight meatbags, but Taito's stylish escape-fest makes a great alternative, unless you live in Asia or LAtin America, where the game is unavailable. Also 800 Microsoft Points.
Microsoft's own GamerscoreBlog also reminds us to look out for a slew of new features for XBLA's UNO as well - including Big Button Pad support, new camera features and privacy settings. There's also new DLC for Bomberman. I love you too.

Damn it, why can't the Wii get this? Come on WiiWare!
Least I can live with the article in Out with Bamber.
I am all over BSG...and Jamie, too. ;p
I think that a Bar-fight brawler featuring Starbuck would have made a better game. Needless to say, I need to pick up that issue of Out.
Or, if you have a computer, you can play the free Beyond the Red Line demo based on the Freespace 2 engine: http://www.game-warden.com/bsg/
Rawr, that Jamie picture made me all fluttery! Great (if slightly distracting) way to start my morning :)
