Behold: The Space Invaders Cross Stitch!
My mother, bless her soul, is a woman who does amazing work with a needle and thread. Seriously, she actually sewed a couple of gashes shut when I played outside a little too hard. She managed to stay in practice by working on absurdly complex projects like custom Christmas stockings (which were gorgeous, btw) and nifty unique patches which adorned my backpacks through elementary school. I have to say, though, that all of her work is put to shame by Cross-stitch ninja's work.
