Boxart Breakdown: Ultimate Duck Hunting Hunting & Retrieving Ducks
Well, look at what the cat dragged in, or should I say the dog? Thanks again to my treasure trove of forgotten games, Frank from Lost Levels. He brought this beauty to my attention this morning. Whilst perusing the virtual shelves of Amazon, he stumbled across the marginally derivative, and slightly repetitive Ultimate Duck Hunting Hunting & Retrieving Ducks.
In Ultimate Duck Hunting Hunting & Retrieving Ducks you play a guy with a shotgun, with his hunting dog who hunts and retrieves the birds you shoot. Sounds familiar? Does the puppers laugh at you when you miss?
Developed by Mid Carolina Media, Ultimate Duck Hunting Hunting & Retrieving Ducks is coming out on the Wii, so you can relieve your glory days with the NES Deluxe Set package with the zapper and R.O.B. Look at the careful detail the design team put into this box art. The contemplative monster sized Lab about to disembowel his owner. That's if the guy was anywhere near the duck or the dog. Look at him, the lighting and shading is completely off. He looks like a scanned photo out of Bear Hunting Magazine. Is that duck a decoy? I think I see strings.
