Buy A Role In Fable 2, Then Marry Yourself

3157-v2.jpg

Who hasn't wanted to star in their own video game? And who wouldn't settle for being a handsome extra? Lionhead Studios wants to help a special someone meet their lowered expectations, and to that end they'll be auctioning off the names of five NPCs in Fable 2. Bidders at the Child's Play Fundraiser Dinner Auction will have a shot at buying the name of a shopkeeper, farmer, important villager, monk or quest-giver.

They'll then be permitted to wait patiently until the release of Fable 2, and - just maybe - up and marry themselves. Isn't that the solution to every one of love's problems, really? And wouldn't it be wonderful to be the first gay gamer to be allowed to marry himself, virtually - and still not allowed to marry his boyfriend, actually?

Also: how much will gaming philanthropists be willing to pay for digital immortality in the hands of Peter Molyneux (and as a farmer)?

This made me laugh a lot and it was a fun read.

Too bad the original Fable sucked so much. Worst video game purchase that I've made.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
