Buying Collector's Edition of Mass Effect Means You Don't Get Everything?
EvilAvatar found this article over at Xbox 360 Fanboy stating that if you ordered the Limited Edition of Mass Effect, you will not get all of the extra stuff depending on whether you ordered it online or at "certain" brick and mortar store in the United States. At least that's how I take. What is this extra stuff, anyways? Well it happens to be the bonus disc that contains Jeebus-knows-what. From X3F:
Canada, Australia, and Latin America will not be receiving the Collector's Edition of Mass Effect. Period. This comes directly from BioWare Community Coordinator Chris Priestly... The Collector's Edition will be available in the US, but only at online retailers, though a bonus disc will be available at certain brick and mortar retailers for those that pre-order the title. UK gamers, on the other hand, can get the Collector's Edition at both online and physical retailers, but not the bonus disc.
Confusing? Perhaps for some it will be, but I think the bonus disc should be included no matter where you ordered it from. It just all seems a little silly when this sort of thing happens. Is anyone peeved at this or are you just going to ignore it?

The bonus disc has nothing on it you can't currently get online or through the Live Marketplace except possibly for some lame gamer pictures. There's a reason it's free.
Oh man, whatever, this situation is out of control. I barely know what I just read, so I'll just buy the normal game in the normal box with the normal disc!
Let me get this straight...there's a limited edition here in the US as well as a bonus 2nd disc being distributed, though not necessarily together?
WHAT?! no CE in Canada!? This displeases me, mainly due to the fact that it's being made in Montreal of all places.
Adding to the confusion, I pre-ordered the REGULAR edition of the game (here in the States) and received a bonus disc. Not sure if this is the "bonus" content that's supposed to come with the CE of the game, but it's not... all... that... thrilling.
