Cool Chick In Uncharted:Drake's Fortune - Hurray!
As if we're not all excited enough about the upcoming release of a new PS3 game that actually isn't already out on another console, for the gaming girls out there, the good news is there's a female character in macho fest Uncharted:Drake's Fortune.
A Sony press release pack revealed some further information about the character Elena Fisher, as seen in the photo here. Apparently Elena is not only a bit of a kick ass chick, but she's also eye candy for the main character - of course. But, at least Elena isn't just another dumb female token character. She's got brains and she likes to indulge in a bit of research, even though she appears to be some kind of show host.
Regardless, it's great for female gamers to have any decent female characters in a game, so well done Uncharted:Drake's Fortune for remembering us. Here's hoping the game is as good as it actually looks. Reports that it's a remake of Tomb Raider with a guy in more clothing are sure to follow this game around, still Naughty Dog have a way of injecting some fun into games. This could be the best action-adventure game out on the PS3.

soooooo psyched about this title :D and wewt for positive portrayal of females!
I think they changed the appearance of the female lead during development. All magazine images of her had her with short auburn hair a la Rebecca Chambers of Resident Evil.
I was a bit of a mousy look. I like the new do.
The sad thing is is that the main character IS in more clothing that tomb raider :/
Anyone that's seen my posts on the hot guys in gaming thread knows I have a creepy obsession with Nathan. I love his outfit..tight jeans..mhhhmm... It sucks she's his eyecandy *pouty face* NOOOO!!
