Dragon Quest IV: WiFi City Building

I love me some Dragon Quest. The series has been one of those little stables that I silently enjoy, secretly sneaking in another hour to two of gameplay between other titles, in hopes that I might actually, one day, get around to beating Dragon Quest VII. Enix really likes their content.
With the remake furvor sweeping the DS development world, it came as no shock that Dragon Quest will be receiving the same treatment. I wasn't fortunate enough to play Dragon Warror 4 on my SNES when it was released, so it is one of those titles I hope will receive a US release. I am, of course, excited about the new features that will be released with the game.
Along with the 3d remake, it was just announced that the game will also receive a "City Planning" mode. Players will be able to recruit characters from various cities, eventually creating a place with armories and other various shops and utilities. This feature is not new to the series, but what is new is the ability to customize the residents and share them over WiFi.
No US release has been announced, but the game is still in active development.

@Asterick
Dragon Quest 4 was on NES and PSX but not SNES. You would have had a long wait. :)
But the question remains: Will this city be built on rock and roll?
Ahh yes, I got my final fantasy and dragon quest numberings mixed up. The statement still applies, I only played DQ 1-3 on the NES. *sigh* either way, lets hope this gets a US launch, it looks absolutely delightful.
The fond memories I have of playing Dragon Quest IV alongside my best friend at the time (a lass I introduced to the series so she'd leave me alone while I played the new Zelda, and who ended up becoming a lesbian) are boundless, and so the idea of playing it again, and with additional content, leave me speechless.
But not without the ability to type. This was remade for the PSsomething a few years back, and if I am not mistaken was canceled halfway through development (it might only have been the English version that was cancelled). So while I am super excited, I am trying not to get too excited, in case the localization gods screw me over once again. And right now all of my prayers to them are being used on Persona 3: FES.
As a side note, I played 1-3 on the NES, and they were all pretty good (I liked building my own team in 3), none of them held a candle to 4 in my opinion.
DW4 was definitely the epic of NES RPGs by a long shot. It would be great for gamers who haven't experienced it's greatness to finally realize the glory of it's mastery.
