Free Halo Theme For Guitar Hero III
If you're a Halo fan and a Guitar Hero fan, prepare to be just a little bit excited. Neversoft, Bungie, Activision/RedOctane, and Microsoft have put their collective heads together to bring the Halo theme song to Guitar Hero III as a free download.
From the 22nd of November, you can download the theme tune exclusively on Xbox Live, just in time to rock out over the Thanksgiving holiday. Rumors of the Halo theme appearing on a version of Guitar Hero have been circulating from as far back as Guitar Hero II, but it seems they were all just a bit premature.
Still, it's nice when a rumor becomes reality, so rock out to Halo this week, although I'm not sure how much of a 'rockin' piece of music it really is.

So, Sony - what are you guys going to do?
Do you get this is one of the reasons Microsoft's doing pretty well in the console market now - offering these little extras, paying developers to make special goodies for the versions of software on their system?
Or are you going to let Microsoft get all of the glory?
