Fruit Brute Seeks San Francisco Lair

As many of you already know, I am heading back to my beloved San Francisco to take up permanent residence here in a few short weeks. Finding apartments can be tricky, especially when you aren't actually in the city you are looking in, so I'm calling out the troops to help me hunt something down. If you know of anything that might be available, please feel free to email me here. I am looking for a two bedroom place that accepts dogs somewhere within the city limits and hopefully close to the action. My top rent would be around $2,200 but that would be the absolute ceiling.
I wouldn't normally post something like this on the blog, but the fact of the matter is, I'm a little desperate. So if you know of anything, please let me know. Thanks!

I'll keep my ears open for you, FB.
Let us all know when you're in the city and we'll throw a "welcome bash" for you at the Pilsner!
2000 plus bucks for a place to sleep? Damn, SanFran is expensive! Best of luck, though.
Yeah, jesus, I'm 15 miles north of the convention center exit that marks the Seattle core and I'm only paying $741 a month, with (non-electric) utilities. Admittedly that's for a one bedroom but I still have like 700 square feet. *scared of California now*
$2000 doesn't seem that much to me but then I live in London so I have no idea about how much property is worth any more.
