Guitar Hero III Brings In $115 Million In First Week Sales
You read correctly, but I imagine that none of you are terribly surprised. One hundred and fifteen million ($115 million) dollars in seven days makes Guitar Hero 3 Activision's largest launch to date. Congrats Activision, you've made a fine game and now you are reaping the rewards of your success.
Another thing announced this afternoon is the immediate (that means today) availability of a software-only bundle containing Guitar Hero I and II. Unfortunately, that only applies to the PlayStation 2. This double pack can be yours for $59.99. Remember, you can always buy the guitar separately. I just wish the full track list from GH I would be released on Xbox LIVE for GH II so long as it doesn't exceed the price of the hard copy.
