Guitar Hero III: Here Comes The Content

Though no official announcements (or pricing for that matter) have been made, it seems that a ScoreHero forum user noticed a few oddities while checking out leaderboards recently. Entries for the six previously unknown tracks can be seen on the leaderboards for the three additional songs that can be downloaded by purchasers of the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Companion Pack soundtrack.
While I did pick up the CD a couple of days ago for the "free" download, I didn't take the time to check out the new content's leaderboards. I did notice, however, that Velvet Revolver's Slither appeared on the soundtrack disc even though -- to my knowledge -- it was not available in-game. I guess I mentally wrote it off as being a track unlocked through co-op career or by completing the hard or expert difficulty settings. Apparently this is not the case and it will soon see release as DLC.
The new packs are comprised of three Foo Fighters and three Velvet Revolver tunes, and one can only assume they will be distributed as such. The track listing can be found below. There has been no mention of price, but I don't expect Activision to release either of the three packs for anything less than the previously seen $6.25 pricing standard. Personally this seems to be a reasonable price to pay for the experience of personally fighting foo.
Furthermore, there is also a listing with all three boss battle tracks which had been previously unplayable outside of the boss battles. If this is the case, will we be asked to pay another $6.25 to play three songs that are already part of the disc? Screw that, yo!
Previously the only GHII DLC that I had purchased was the My Chemical Romance pack, which I definitely consider to have been worth the price. What do you think? Do these new offerings indicate that Activision is striving for quality this time around?
Foo Fighters Tracks:

First Guitar Hero III DLC Leaked [Xboxic]

Lately, I've been playing She Builds Quick Machines on guitar and I'm totally excited to play it in guitar hero instead for some reason =) I can't wait until they come out!
I'll definitely be getting that Foo pack if Nintendo gets their act together with DLC on the Wii. Otherwise we'll have to see if it's still available when I buy a 360 after its next price drop.
