iPhone Get ScummVM. Squee.

I've been throughly fighting the urge to buy an iPhone since it was released. My main reason for not having one now is that I simply don't have a reason for one. My existing phone does text messaging and regular calls just fine. With the impending release of the SDK and the ever increasing library of native 3rd party applications, it is becoming progressively harder to curb my enthusiasm.
Those crafty people behind ScummVM will port their application to anything. PCs, Mac, Linux, DS, PC; the supported platform list just keeps going. And now the iPhone. Owners of the iPhone are now able to run a native build of ScummVM. The compatibility list is rather impressive, although you'll have to deal with a single touch interface, and lack of keyboard. The really bad news is of course that you must have a jail-breaked (jail-broken?) iPhone, which voids your warranty and can possibly brick your phone if you should ever upgrade it. I personally think it is totally worth it.

I've got it installed on my iPhone, and fired up "Beneath a Steel Sky" to test it out.
It has some control issues - I can't seem to get the menu to come up, but I'll play with it a bit.
Damn, if I wasn't so frightend of getting my bill in a box, this would be great. Sam & Max, Day of the Tentacle, on my phone? Datz cool.
Though getting my bill in a box, not so much.
