Joss Whedon To Helm New Fox Show 'DollHouse'
Buffy mastermind and Firefly aficionado Joss Whedon has signed to work on a new series for Fox, starring Elizabeth Dushku, in a series currently titled 'Dollhouse'. The series will basically revolve around a series of characters who are mentally 'programmed' to go on various high jinx adventures, stealing things, fighting defenceless guards, getting angst-ridden over anti-hero hotties no doubt. After each mission the operative has their memories 'wiped' clean, providing a tepid multi-episode means for amnesia aggravated 'Echo' (Dushku) to visit various locations, remember a little bit of something, get back to the job, remember a little bit more, fight with her shadowy leader figure, return to childhood home, find long lost sister... have we been here before?

More Whedon and Fai-- er, I mean, Eliza!? Be still my heart! This combined with the release of the new Faith-centric issue of Season 8 is making this a very awesome week for Buffy fans.
If it manages to actually run longer than three episodes on Fox, I will get excited. Right now, I'm not about to get my hopes up.
Well, at least it gets her back into the Whedon stable so that when Fox yanks the rug out from under it after airing 10 out-of-order episodes and showing the pilot movie last, she's available for the Buffy reunion.
Didn't Joss say he wouldn't work with Fox again after the whole Firefly thing? Did he just change his mind?
I guess I'm just not seeing the connection here, how is this related to gay issues or gaming?
They cover comic books, so why shouldn't they cover actual pop culture as well?
