Mass Effect Street Date Broken
K-mart will surely be seeing a lot of hopeful Cheap Ass Gamers wandering through their stores this morning. It seems that a couple of CAG forum users managed to score a copy of Mass Effect early. This is just the latest in a long line of "Store Breaks Date" headlines it seems. Recently, copies of Super Mario Galaxy, Rock Band, Guitar Hero III and Halo 3 have all been sold accidentally [we assume] by retailers.
I'm literally angry with rage! I make semi regular rounds to some of these stores, just hoping for a great find like this but no! All I find are clearance-priced Shark Tales Game Boy Advance video carts. Never do I stumble across anything sweet, like the Seth Green-voiced (among others) over-the-shoulder, RPG shooter.
There is likely to always to be a few random shops that accidentally put games out on the shelves early. I just haven't been lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time. Have any of you managed to snag an early copy of anything lately? Leave a comment while I'm out scouring the lesser-informed retailers across this greater metropolitan area.

I too am literally angry with rage! I've never, ever, EVER been lucky enough to find something shelved early.
A few years back, a friend managed to get Halo 2 from Target almost a week early. We went online and there were only two or three people playing the game, all of whom handed us our asses frequently and skillfully.
I got Super Paper Mario the day before release, but that doesn't really count.
i got final fantasy twelve a week and a half early cus i knew gamestop people, and now working there we can't get anything early EVAR, really sucks to sit there and look at halo3 or super mario galaxy or guitar hero three weeks before release and know that you can't play it untill two weeks later..
