New Game Releases: 11/12/07
It was hard to believe at first, but there are 61 games being released this week. That is a phenomenal number that illustrates how important it is for publishers to have their games on store shelves in time for the upcoming holiday shopping weekend. With so many titles seeing release, it's more important than ever to choose carefully and support the developers that are making the games that you love to play!
This week, I am looking forward to exploring Super Mario Galaxy, and though I can't say that I quite understand the gameplay mechanics of Assassin's Creed, I may just have to make room in the budget for it this week, too.

Crap... and I thought Mass Effect and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune were out this week too... it's bad enough with Assassin's Creed, Super Mario Galaxy, and Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles. I should just cancel all my friendships now.
GH3 for PC? I didn't even realize that was coming! hmmm.... no more dl packs, I'm sure it'll be hacked quickly and new songs delivered on a regular basis.
I'm getting Contra 4 and Mario Galaxy for sure. Seriously, check out the explosion-tastics website and TRY not to be convinced.
Uncharted got demoted from a "must buy" to a "maybe later" after the demo. I may be a complete idiot, but I was expecting more puzzles and traversal platforming and less Gears of Naughty Dog. Great sense of humor, fun visuals, just not the game I wanted to play.
Assassin's Creed looks good, but I have a feeling that I'm going to illogically hate whatever Matrix-wannabe storyline they slapped over something that should be the next Prince of Persia.
MGSP looks interesting. But I said the same thing about "Ac!d" so...
I'm REALLY looking forward to Assassin's Creed. I may even leave work 'sick' early on Tuesday to pick up my copy! It looks gorgeous. Yeah, the gameplay is still a mystery to me -- especially the fighting aspect -- but it looks like an intelligent game otherwise, so I'm giving those other aspects the benefit of the doubt.
I appreciate the new format of the New Releases of the Week. It's much easier to read. :)

Yes, you can get your wrestle on with your 360, too. I just didn't want to list it over and over again. Normally I would list everything, but there were so many new releases this week, I simplified a bit!
