Nintendo Announces Two New DS Bundles

Just in time for the madness of the Holiday Shopping Season, Nintendo have announced the arrival of two DS Lite bundles, complete with their own new colors. The first bundle, and the obvious choice for any would-be DS owner, is the Zelda bundle. This model is Gold and comes with a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. If I didn't already have two copies of that game and a still functioning DS Phat, I would totally jump on that.
The other bundle is Metallic Rose (very fancy) and comes with a copy of the "Best Friends" edition of Nintendogs. Which reminds me, I wonder how my Chihuahua is faring after not looking in on him in Chihuahua & Friends for nearly a year? Probably not doing so well, I imagine. Anyways, both systems feature a Triforce and paw print on the cover of their respective bundles to show that your DS Lite is extra special. It'll be the talk of town!
Look for these on store shelves November 23, 2007. For more details, a whole bunch of facts and a gallery, make the jump.

The new bundles will build on this legacy as they offer shoppers something new for the holidays.
The glimmering Gold edition of the Nintendo DS shows the world your passion for excellence and grandeur, since it comes bundled with The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass -- the year's biggest hand-held adventure game -- and is emblazoned with the series' signature Triforce logo. It's a shiny nugget that any gamer -- girl or guy -- would be proud to show off.
For those looking for a different kind of dazzling color, the new pretty-in-pink Metallic Rose edition puts a futuristic sheen on your color scheme. It's bundled with Nintendogs, the acclaimed puppy-interaction software that lets players select, train and play with their own canine companions. And the hardware comes accented with a distinctive pink puppy paw print.

I actually kind of like the Metallic Rose color lol
I'm just glad I still like my black and red. I really, really don't want to get tempted again since I have a second DS (my phat) as it is....
ohh, now nice
if I did not already have the game, I would actually consider buying this.....then the gold could make friends with my white one.
if this is not a limited time offer bit of jazz I may still consider getting it if I ever happen to find extra money with no good use to go to. Then I could play the vs. against myself.....or anyone around my I could con into it.
I sold my DS awhile ago...and I'm glad I did...now I have an excuse to pick up the Zelda inspired one.
I'd love to get a red/black one or this gold one, but sadly my old bulky DS is still working perfectly and I have plenty of other stuff I need the money for.
