PES 2008 Kicking FIFA's Ass!
The great debate in soccer has continued to gather fire throughout recent years - Is FIFA or Pro Evolution Soccer the best football game available on consoles?
It would appear that PES has been crowned the winner as Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 continues to sell in bucketloads in the UK. It's currently selling twice as many copies across all formats as FIFA 08 and that is with a 52% drop in sales this week.
What is it that makes PES stand out from the crowd? Well some say it has more realistic gameplay, others say it's the variety of play and skills that make it stand out. I personally think that there's not that much difference. For some reason, you're either a PES fan or a FIFA fan and for many years I've been the latter.
Now if only we could get these games to sell as well in the US and Australia. Even adding the Hyundai A League to FIFA 08 here in Australia hasn't really created that big of an uproar or a huge sales push.

PES 2008 is an utter joke. How the hell can you sit there and play that, and call it realistic?
Played a long ball from one end of the park to the other and look at the blooming speed of it, there is no way that is a truthful replication of the beautiful game. Now watch the ball dynamics of Fifa, and it plays so much more fluider and truthful. But what would you fags know about a real mans game anyway.
