Play Cool Harmonix Game On Your iPod!
Not content with surfing the web, checking your calendar, downloading music and pretty much everything else on your flash new iPod? Well now you can play a funky rhythm game on it too.
Thanks to Harmonix, iTunes now has Phase: The Music Is Your Game available for download for around 3.99(GBP) or $5 . The cool thing about it is that you can use your playlist as your in-games songs to click along to.
The aim of the game is pretty simple, you click your iPod wheel in time with the music to hit floating discs that travel along the screen towards you. Also if you have a click wheel iPod, you will run your thumb around it to match the floating dots on the screen.
As with any rhythm game worth it's salt, the more you hit in time with the music, the better your score will be. Not quite sure how it would work on the new iTouch though...

Interesting. But I have to wonder, isn't this basically the same thing as the freeware rhythm game that was/is around for Jailbroken iPhones? Hopefully the implementation of using your own tracks works better than it did in the freeware game that is around.
