PS3 Firmware 2.01 Released

Sony rocked the boat a bit too hard when they released the 2.0 update. It introduced a few stability issues that many users reported. So the big guys went to work on a fix, which was just released. The 2.01 update is available on the PSN. Simply connect to the network, and a prompt will come up to tell you to go to System Update to update your firmware to the latest build.
According to Sony, the 2.01 addresses these issues:
“Stability during playing some PlayStation 3 format software has been improved, stability of system software including Internet Browser and Information Board has been improved, and stability of the upscaler for PlayStation 2 format software has been improved.”

For what it's worth this seems to be killing Call of Duty 4, so you might want to hold off if that game is important to you.
Shame it doesn't fix the remote play problem either... you know, the one that has your PS3 start up all of it's own accord, only to shutdown a few mins later and then repeat...
