Rock Band: A Cautionary Tale

I have yet to experience the glory that is Rock Band, largely because I keep on hoping that someone will buy it for me for Christmas (I'm looking at you, Boy Blunder!). However, a somewhat funny -albeit a bit tragic- tale has surfaced over at the Rock Band forums:
"Luminary Pants", a forum member, posted a picture of a notice giving he and his apartmentmate ten days to move out of the apartment complex because neighbors complained of loud noises after 10 PM. Apparently this wasn't the first time such complaints were made, but the two thought they were being warned because their laundry machines were run after 10 PM and they weren't supposed to do that.
So, now, Luminary Pants and his friend have to start off the holiday season by finding new housing. Personally, I think they should play Rock Band as hard as possible into the wee hours of the morning until they have to leave.

I don't know the guy...perhaps he's a good guy, perhaps he wasn't given sufficient notice, perhaps his neighbors really are creeps...but...
I HAVE lived next to people who don't seem to give a rat's ass about keeping their neighbors up. We're talking two and three in the morning...on weekdays. It's so freakin' infuriating and selfish. So, assuming the reason for the eviction is legitimate, then perhaps they deserve it? I mean, if they don't care about others, why should I care about them?
Yea I've had neighbors like this... fuck 'em.
Now that I'm all grown up in the Suburbs without the attached walls of apartment dwelling I am thankful to have a neighbor who has Rock Band. We were playing until 11pm and I know they kept playing past midnight but I didn't hear a thing.
Yeah, I'll have to say I'm glad it happened too. Loud neighbors in apartments are the bane of my existance. They deserved what they got and if they take Boy's ridiculously immature advice to just be louder the rest of the time they're there I hope they get arrested as well.
Now that is utterly rock star.
Of course, I usually play the part of the bitchy neighbor, but what the hell. They aren't in my building. Rock on, guys!
I'm with Detritus and Motordog...I'm thinking they probably were notified appropriately and are trying to make it more of a sob story than it is.
