Rumor - House Of The Dead Creeping Onto Wii?
The nice folk over at Go Nintendo are revealing that the classic shooter series House of the Dead may be returning to our consoles soon on the Nintendo Wii.
Originally started as a rumor due to a listing found on GameFly, Go Nintendo are now stating that it has been confirmed by SEGA that the game does exist, but that the publishers aren't ready to release anymore information at this stage.
The listing on GameFly states that it will have a street date of the 31st of March 2008 and that the title is House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return, although this may be a working title at the moment. This type of game will be fantastic on the Wii, especially if you have a zapper to clip your Wiimote into. So, here's hoping GameFly are right, they usually are.

I just wish that HoD1 was included. The Saturn port from back in the day did not do justice to the game.
I'm with game-boi. It should have been a House of the Dead 1-3.
But this gives some hope. If it does well, I'll expect a Time Crisis and Silent Scope port, followed by original games.
I would be more excited with a Viruta Cop compilation, but that's just me. I'm just happy that Sega sees the value in bringing these classic games to a [relatively] new audience.
