Unreal Tournament 3 Gets Gamespy Multiplayer Tech

Unreal Tournament 3 is shaping up nicely for the third installment of the definitive arena killer. Gamespy and Epic have partnered up to enhance the multiplayer features of Unreal Tournament 3 for the PS3 and the PC. The technology will include multiplayer matchmaking, messaging in and out of game, player stats, leaderboards, and VoIP communication.
Earlier this year Gamespy and Epic announced their partnership on integrating Gamespy’s technology into the Unreal 3 Engine for future projects. UT3 will mark the first release for their collaboration, and from the sounds of these features, they will be a welcome addition to fleshing out the multiplayer experience for games to come.

I'm not sure 'enhance' would be the right word. Collaberating with valve and using steam would be enhancing, collaberating with gamespy... we shall see
I have to agree with boyband here.
Gamespy is horrible IMO
