Video: Ninja Gaiden 2 Preview

1up's James Mielke has played Ninja Gaiden 2, and despite your many lovely attributes, you probably haven't. As a result, he's qualified to speak about the game, as he does in the above video. He talks about the environments (New York is a favorite of his), new enemy tactics such as suicide bombing, and how the game's linearity doesn't feel restrictive. In addition, you can see footage of a creepy spider ninja boss fight, as well as copious scenes of the new (and disgusting) dismemberment game play mechanic. Lastly, ponder why Mielke and video producer Ryan O'Donnell are both donning wool caps when they're obviously indoors. Ziff-Davis trying to save money on heating costs?

Follow the break for a more detailed video of the spider boss battle without the Chatty-Cathys talking over it and keeping you from hearing all the blood spatter.

Ninja Gaiden 2 is due in Spring 2008 and is currently only announced for the Xbox 360.
