Video Games Like A Little Bush - George W Is Hip To Be Square
Good ol' George W. Trying to fit in with the youth of today and combining this with appealing to the wounded soldiers he's sent to Iraq is all in a days work for the Prez.
At a recent visit to a rehabilitation center in Texas, the Bushmeister engaged in 'shooting the bad guys' by playing a war game with some veterans that simulates a firefight in Baghdad.
White House spokesperson Dana Perino stated that Bush was impressed with the virtual reality games that allow recovering vets to still feel as though they're part of the combat. No doubt it was fun for him to 'shoot the bad guys' from thousands of miles away from actual combat.
You gotta love George for turning anything into a publicity stunt - now I wonder what game they were playing? Any guesses?

The only thing I love about Dubya is that we're not forced to endure him as President for too much longer.
Now if only we can make it the rest of his term without him starting any more stupid, unnecessary wars...

I secretly find Dubya to be cute, mostly because he's so bumbling.
I believe the game isn't a commercial video game. Recent research at army medical centers used for veteran rehabilitation have shown that one of the most effective ways of dealing with post-traumatic stress syndrome is to make the solider deal with the situations that caused the stress in the first place. In this case, that would be a firefight.
I'm guessing these games are ones that the army has had commissioned specifically for such rehabilitation purposes.
